T4 DNA Ligase

Catalyzes the formation of phosphodiester bonds between adjacent DNA fragments

T4 DNA Ligase facilitates the connection of two cohesive- or blunt-ended DNA strands, linking the 5'-phosphate and 3'-hydroxyl groups of neighboring nucleotides. It is commonly used in molecular biology to create recombinant DNA molecules by ligating a piece of foreign DNA into a vector or to repair damaged DNA by sealing nicks or gaps in the DNA backbone.

Our T4 DNA Ligase can be customized to fit your needs and is available in lyophilization-ready and lyophilized formats.
