Production Procedures

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to TPR immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00099 maps to a region between residue 2300 and the C-terminus (residue 2349) of human Translocated Promoter Region Protein using the numbering given in entry NP_003283.1 (GeneID 7175).

Additional Product Information

TPR (translocated promoter region) was identified in oncogenic fusions with the kinase domains of trk, met, and raf protooncogenes. TPR has also been identified as a candidate nuclear skeletal protein that localizes to nuclear pore-associated intranuclear filaments. TPR is part of an interchromasomal channel-based nuclear matrix that provides connectivity between the nuclear interior and periphery. It is implicated in intranuclear transport and export of mRNA and proteins.
