Production Procedures

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to DOCK4 immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00647 maps to a region between residue 1725 and 1775 of human dedicator of cytokinesis 4 using the numbering given in entry NP_055520.3 (GeneID 9732).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

DOCK4 (dedicator of cytokinesis 4) is a member of the CDM gene family and functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for the Rac small GTPase. It has been found to play a role in regulating the development of dendrites and rac-dependent cell migration. As a regulator of Rac, DOCK4 participates in wnt signaling by acting as a scaffold and influencing beta-catenin stability.
