Additional Product Information

BNIP3L (BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19kDa interacting protein 3-like) is a member of the BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19 kd-interacting protein (BNIP) family. BNIP3L interacts with the E1B 19 kDa protein which is responsible for the protection of virally-induced cell death, as well as E1B 19 kDa-like sequences of BCL2, also an apoptotic protector. BNIP3L is a functional homolog of BNIP3, a proapoptotic protein. This protein may function simultaneously with BNIP3 and may play a role in tumor suppression [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID: 665)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
