Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to ZHX3 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00299 maps to a region between residue 150 and 200 of human zinc fingers and homeoboxes 3 using the numbering given in entry NP_055850.1 (GeneID 23051).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

ZHX3 (zinc-fingers and homeoboxes 3) was identified as a factor that heterodimerizes with the transcriptional repressor, ZHX1. ZHX3 has also been found to partner with ZHX2 and itself, as a dimer, to play a role in transcriptional repression. Recently, studies in a rat model for proteinuria have revealed an important role for ZHX3 in glomerular disease development and the regulation of gene expression in glomerular podocytes.
