Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to USP3 immobilized on solid support.
The epitope recognized by IHC-00319 maps to a region between residue 471 and 521 of human ubiquitin specific protease 3 using the numbering given in entry AAD42992.1 (GeneID 9960).
Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Ubiquitin (Ub) is a highly conserved protein found ubiquitously in eukaryotic organisms. The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Removal of Ub can rescue proteins from degradation. This is accomplished by the ubiquitin-specific processing protease (UBP) family of enzymes. Ubiquitin specific processing protease 3 (USP3) is a member of this family and is involved in the deubiquitination of histones H2A and H2B.
