Production Procedures

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to MADD immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00621 maps to a region between residue 1597 and 1647 of human MAP-kinase activating death domain using the numbering given in entry NP_003673.3 (GeneID 8567).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

MAP kinase-activating death domain protein (MADD) is a death domain containing protein that interacts with the death domain of TNF-alpha receptor 1 to activate mitogen-activate protein kinase (MAPK) and transduce apoptotic signals. MADD is a multi-pass membrane protein that exists as multiple alternatively spliced forms.

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
