LMP-1 (LIM mineralization protein) is a PDZ-domain and LIM-domain containing protein shown to have osteoinductive activity. Before the discovery of LMP-1, a protein highly homologous to LMP-1 was identified as Enigma protein in Drosophila. Drosophila Enigma was first identified in a screen of Enigma loss-of-function mutations as a modifier of Notch signaling. Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.
