Production Procedures

Antibody was affinity purified using an epitope specific to HPIP immobilized on solid support.

The epitope recognized by IHC-00327 maps to a region between residue 1 and 50 of human hematopoietic PBX-interacting protein using the numbering given in entry NP_065385.2 (GeneID 57326).

Immunoglobulin concentration was determined using Beer’s Law where 1mg/mL IgG has an A280 of 1.4.

Additional Product Information

Hematopoietic PBX-interacting protein (HPIP) was identified in a yeast two-hybrid screen for factors that interact with PBX1, a homeodomain protein that regulates gene transcription during development and differentiation. Recently, HPIP has been reported to interact with estrogen receptor alpha (ERalpha) and estrogen receptor beta (ERbeta) and modulate ER target gene expression.

57326

PBXIP1

PBX homeobox interacting protein 1

Q96AQ6

Pre-B-cell leukemia transcription factor-interacting protein 1

Alternate Names

hematopoietic PBX-interacting protein; HPIP; pre-B-cell leukemia homeobox interacting protein 1; pre-B-cell leukemia transcription factor-interacting protein 1

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
