Bicaudal D homolog 2 (BICD2) is one of two human homologs of Drosophila bicaudal-D and a member of the Bicoid family. It has been implicated in dynein-mediated, minus end-directed motility along microtubules. BICD2 has also been reported to be a phosphorylation target of NIMA related kinase 8 [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 23299)].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
