HYPK Antibody

Huntingtin-interacting protein K (HYPK) has a chaperone-like activity preventing polyglutamine (polyQ) aggregation of HTT. It protects against HTT polyQ-mediated apoptosis in Neuro2a neuronal cells. HYPK is required for optimal NAA10-NAA15 complex-mediated N-terminal acetylation [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9NX55].
