Additional Product Information

Cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 68 (CPSF68) is the 68 kDa subunit of the cleavage factor Im complex (CFIm). The CFIm is a heterodimer composed of a 25 kDa (CPSF5) subunit and either the 59 kDa (CPSF7) or 68 kDa (CPSF6) subunit and is essential to the first step of pre-mRNA 3’-end processing. CPSF68 bears an N-terminal RNA- recognition motif (RRM) that is necessary for binding CPS5.

Alternate Names

CFIM; CFIM68; CFIM72; cleavage and polyadenylation specific factor 6, 68kDa; cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor 68 kDa subunit; cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor subunit 6; cleavage factor Im complex 68 kDa subunit; CPSF 68 kDa subunit; HPBRII-4; HPBRII-7; pre-mRNA cleavage factor I, 68kD subunit; pre-mRNA cleavage factor Im (68kD); pre-mRNA cleavage factor Im 68 kDa subunit; protein HPBRII-4/7

Applications

Epitope exposure is recommended.

Epitope exposure with citrate buffer will enhance staining.

Likely to work with frozen sections.

In some cases, the antibody may be diluted further than indicated.
