Additional Product Information

Urokinase plasminogen activator surface receptor (UPAR) acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator. It plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation and mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA. UPAR is subject to negative-feedback regulation by U-PA which cleaves it into an inactive form [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q03405].

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
