Additional Product Information

Transcription factor E3 (TFE3) is a member of the microphthalmia transcription factor/transcription factor E (MITF-TFE) family of basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper (bHLH-Zip) transcription factors. This family includes four members: MITF, TFE3, TFEB and TFEC. TFE3 activates transcription through binding to the muE3 motif of the immunoglobulin heavy-chain enhancer [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (GeneID: 7030)].

Alternate Names

bHLHe33; class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 33; RCCP2; RCCX1; TFEA; transcription factor E family, member A; transcription factor E3; transcription factor for IgH enhancer; transcription factor for immunoglobulin heavy-chain enhancer 3

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of immunoprecipitates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit Light Chain HRP Conjugate (Cat. No. A120-113P) with 5% Normal Pig Serum (Cat. No. S100-020) added to the blocking buffer.
