Additional Product Information

In addition to its possible functions as a facilitator of Myc activated transcription, PAM (protein associated with Myc) has also been shown to play a role in mTOR signaling. PAM functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase for tuberin (TSC2), a negative regulator of the mTOR pathway. Additionally PAM has been shown to function as a guanosine exchange factor (GEF) for Rheb and to facilitate sphingosine-1-phosphate signaling in the mTOR pathway.

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MYCBP2

Alternate Names

E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MYCBP2; Highwire; myc-binding protein 2; Myc-bp2; PAM; pam/highwire/rpm-1 protein; Phr; protein associated with Myc; RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase MYCBP2

Applications

All western blot analysis is performed using 5% Milk-TBST for blocking and as antibody diluent. Primary antibody is incubated overnight.

Western blots of cell lysates are performed using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Heavy and Light Chain Antibody (Cat. No. A120-101P).
