Detection of Human Tyro3 by Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg for A; 500 µg for B) from U937 cells. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Tyro3 antibody BL1154 (Cat. No. A300-242A) used at the indicated concentrations for WB (A and B) and at 10 µg/mg of lysate for IP (B). Another rabbit polyclonal antibody was used in IP as a negative control (Ctrl IP). Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 5 minutes (A) and 30 minutes (B).
Tyrosine-protein kinase receptor Tyro 3 is a member of the Axl subfamily of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTK) that play a role in cell growth, differentiation and metabolism and are important to nervous, immune and reproductive system development. Gas6 (growth arrest specific gene) has been show to be the ligand for Tyro3.
