eIF4E Antibody

 
eIF4E is a component of the EIF4F initiation complex (eIF4A, eIF4E, eIF4G) that is involved in the processes of mRNA cap recognition, poly (A) binding, and the recruitment of mRNA to the ribosome during protein synthesis. eIF4E plays a role in binding the 5’cap of the mRNA for translation initiation. Alternate names for eI4E include eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E, eIF-4E, mRNA cap-binding protein, eIF-4F 25 kDa subunit, EIF4E, EIF4EL1, EIF4E1, and MGC111573.
