eIF2B delta/EIF2B4 Antibody

eIF2B delta is encoded by the EIF2B4 gene. EIF2B4 is necessary for protein synthesis and is one of five subunits of the eIF2B factor which functions as a GTP exchange factor. The protein encoded by this gene, EIF2B4, is the fourth, or delta subunit. Defects in this gene are a cause of leukoencephalopathy with vanishing white matter (VWM) and ovarioleukodystrophy.

Alternative names for eIF2B delta/EIF2B4 Antibody include EIF2B4 antibody, Translation initiation factor eIF-2B subunit delta and eIF-2B GDP-GTP exchange factor subunit delta antibody.
