ch-TOG Antibody

Colonic and hepatic tumor over-expressed protein (ch-TOG) is a protein originally described as a gene over-expressed in human hepatomas and colonic tumors. It was found to be a homolog of the xenopus egg protein, XMAP214, a microtubule associated protein (MAP). The human ch-TOG protein has been shown to promote microtubule assembly and is a major component of microtubule asters. It is required for centrosome integrity, spindle pole organization and bipolar spindle assembly.

Alternative names for ch-TOG Antibody include cytoskeleton-associated protein 5 antibody, CKAP5 antibody, TOG antibody, MSPS antibody, TOGp antibody, KIAA0097 antibody.
