UBR1 Antibody

UBR1 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that is a component of the N-end rule pathway. UBR1 recognizes and binds to proteins bearing specific N-terminal residues that are destabilizing according to the N-end rule, leading to their ubiquitination and subsequent degradation. UBR1 may be involved in pancreatic homeostasis. UBR1 binds leucine and is a negative regulator of the leucine-mTOR signaling pathway, thereby controlling cell growth [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ Q8IWV7].

Alternative names for UBR1 Antibody include N-recognin-1 antibody, ubiquitin-protein ligase E3-alpha-1 antibody, ubiquitin-protein ligase E3-alpha-I antibody, JBS antibody.
