SPTLC1 Antibody

Serine palmitoyltransferase (SPT), which consists of two different subunits, is the key enzyme in sphingolipid biosynthesis. It converts L-serine and palmitoyl-CoA to 3-oxosphinganine with pyridoxal 5'-phosphate as a cofactor. SPTLC1 (serine palmitoyltransferase, long chain base subunit 1 is the long chain base subunit 1 of serine palmitoyltransferase. Mutations in SPTLC1 were identified in patients with hereditary sensory neuropathy type 1 [taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 10558)].

Alternative names for SPTLC1 Antibody include serine palmitoyltransferase 1 antibody, SPT1 antibody, long chain base biosynthesis protein 1 antibody, LCB1 antibody, HSAN antibody, HSN1 antibody, HSAN1 antibody, hLCB1 antibody, SPTI antibody.
