SMRT Antibody

SMRT (silencing mediator of retinoid and thyroid hormone receptor) mediates gene repression by interacting with nuclear receptors such as the thyroid hormone receptor, retinoic acid receptor, progesterone receptor, androgen receptor, estrogen receptor, and glucocorticoids receptor. SMRT mediates repression by associating with SIN3A/B and the histone deacetylases, HDAC1 and HDAC2, and promoting the formation of repressive chromatin structures.

Alternative names for SMRT Antibody include SMRTE antibody, SMRTE-tau antibody, silencing mediator for retinoid and thyroid hormone receptors antibody, NCoR2 antibody, NCoR-2 antibody, nuclear receptor co-repressor 2 antibody, TRAC1 antibody, TRAC-1 antibody, Thyroid- retinoic-acid-receptor-associated corepressor antibody, T3 receptor-associating factor antibody, TNRC14 antibody, SMAP270 antibody.
