SETDB1 Antibody

SETDB1 (SET domain, bifurcated 1) is a member of the SET (SuVar3-9, enhancer of Zeste, Trithorax) domain-containing protein family that functions as a histone and DNA methyltransferase. SETDB1 was identified through its interaction with ERG (ets-related gene) and KAP1 (KRAB-associated protein1) and was later demonstrated to interact with HDAC1/2 (histone deacetylase 1/2), DNA methyltransferase 3s (DNMT3s), mSin3A/3B, HP1, and MBD1. SETDB1 is suggested to play a role in transcriptional repression important to early development.

Alternative names for SETDB1 Antibody include histone-lysine N-methyltransferase SETDB1 antibody, SET domain antibody, bifurcated 1 antibody, ERG-associated protein with SET domain antibody, ESET antibody, Histone H3-K9 methyltransferase 4 antibody, H3-K9-HMTase 4 antibody, KGIT antibody, KIAA0067 antibody.
