SAP155/SF3b155 Antibody

SF3B155 is a subunit of the U2 small nuclear ribonucleoproteins complex (U2 snRNP) that functions in pre-mRNA splicing. SF3B155 together with splicing factor 3a binds pre-mRNA upstream of the branchpoint sequence to anchor U2 snRNP to the pre-mRNA. SF3B155 is also a component of the U12-type splicesome that is involved in the splicing of a rare class of nuclear pre-mRNA introns. Alternate names for SF3B155 include splicing factor 3B subunit 1, splicesome-associated protein 155, SAP 155, SF3b155, pre-mRNA-splicing factor SF3b 155 kDa subunit, PRP10, and PRPF10.
