Roquin Antibody

The conjugation of ubiquitin to proteins is an important means to regulate protein activity for many cellular processes by tagging them for degradation. Targeting of proteins by ubiquitination occurs in three main steps that involve the activation of ubiquitin by E1 enzymes, the carrying of ubiquitin to the target protein by E2 enzymes and the ligation of ubiquitin to the target protein by E3 enzymes. Roquin is a member of the RING type E3 ubiquitin ligases. Roquin possesses a CCCH zinc-finger found in RNA-binding proteins and is implicated to play a role in the development of autoimmune disease.

Alternative names for Roquin Antibody include RING finger and C3H zinc finger protein 1 antibody, RING finger protein 198 antibody, RC3H1 antibody, KIAA2025 antibody, RNF198 antibody, RP5-1198E17.5 antibody.
