Ribeye Antibody

Ribeye was identified as a major protein component in purified synaptic ribbons from retina. Ribeye is composed of a unique A-domain for ribbons, and a B-domain identical to CtBP2 (C-terminal binding protein), a transcriptional co-repressor. Ribeye is an alternative transcript encoded by the CtBP2 gene and functions as a scaffold in the formation of synaptic ribbons.
