RFX5 Antibody

Regulatory factor X-5 (RFX5) is a 75kDa subunit of the regulatory factor X (RFX) heteromeric complex that activates the transcription of major histocompatibility class II (MHC-II) genes by binding MHC-II promoter elements. The RFX complex consists of RFX5, RFXANK, and RFXAP. Mutations in these genes result in a lack of MHCII transcription and lead to the severe combined immunodeficiency disease, Bare Lymphocyte Syndrome (BLS).
