PDCD4 Antibody

 
Programmed cell death 4 (PDCD4) has been identified as a tumor suppressor that is able to inhibit tumor invasion and neoplastic transformation. The tumor suppressor activity of PDCD4 is achieved via its ability to inhibit translation initiation of proteins essential for transformation and tumor invasion. PDCD4A inhibits translation by interacting with the RNA helicase eIF4A and the scaffolding protein eIF4G. Alternate names for PDCD4 include nuclear antigen H731-like, neoplastic transformation inhibitor protein, protein 197/15a, H731, MGC33046, and MGC33047.
