MED12 Antibody

MED12 is a component of the multisubunit mediator complex that functions as an interface between gene-specific transcription factors and the RNA Pol II/general transcription factor machinery. The mediator complex was first identified as a coactivator of the thyroid hormone receptor and has since been observed to function as a coactivator of a variety of transcription factors. In this context, MED12 interaction with beta-catenin has been shown to be required for Wnt-signaling dependent transcription.

Alternative names for MED12 Antibody include mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 12 antibody, thyroid hormone receptor-associated protein complex 230 kDa component antibody, trap230 antibody, activator-recruited cofactor 240 kDa component antibody, ARC240 antibody, CAG repeat protein 45 antibody, OPA-containing protein antibody, CAGH45 antibody, HOPA antibody, KIAA0192 antibody, TNRC11 antibody, TRAP230 antibody.
