KPNB1 Antibody

 
KPNB1, also known as importin (karyopherin)-beta, plays an important role in the transport of macromolecules between the cytoplasm and nucleus. KPNB1 functions as a transport receptor that binds to importin-alpha-bound cargo and docks it to the cytoplasmic side of the nuclear pore complex (NPC) for translocation through the NPC. Alternate names for KPNB1 include importin-beta, importin subunit beta-1, karyopherin subunit beta-1, karyopherin-beta, nuclear factor p97, importin 90, IMB1, IPOB, and NTF97.
