HEXIM2 Antibody

HEXIM2 (Hexamethylene bis-acetamide-inducible protein 2) is a transcriptional regulator which functions as a general RNA polymerase II transcription inhibitor. In cooperation with 7SK snRNA, HEXIM2 sequesters P-TEFb in a large inactive 7SK snRNP complex preventing RNA polymerase II phosphorylation and subsequent transcriptional elongation. [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ Q96MH2].

Alternative names for HEXIM2 Antibody include MAQ1 paralog antibody, L3 antibody, hexamethylene bis-acetamide-inducible transcript 2 antibody.
