FBXO28 (F-box only protein 28) is a member of the the F-box protein family. Members of this family are characterized by an approximately 40-amino acid F-box motif. SCF complexes, formed by SKP1 (MIM 601434), cullin, and F-box proteins, act as protein-ubiquitin ligases. The function of FBXO28 has not been characterized. Alternate names for FBXO28 include FBX28, and KIAA0483.
