FBI-1/ZBTB7 Antibody

 
Zinc-finger and BTB domain-containing protein 7A (ZBTB7A) binds IST (inducer of short transcript) DNA elements in the HIV promoter to facilitate short transcript synthesis. ZBTB7A identified as LRF also interacts with the LAZ-3/BCL-6 oncoprotein. Because ZBTB7A also contains a POZ domain it may serve a function in chromatin remodeling. ZBT7/FBI-1 is also known as Factor that Binds to Inducer of Short Transcripts (IST) protein 1, Pokemon, LRF, Leukemia/lymphoma Related Factor, ZBTB7, ZBTB7A, TIP21, TIP-21, TTF-1 interacting peptide 21, OCZF, Osteoclast Derived Zinc Finger.
