Dcp2 Antibody

mRNA-decapping enzyme 2 (Dcp2) is required for both normal mRNA turnover and nonsense-mediated mRNA decay. Dcp2 plays a role in replication-dependent histone mRNA degradation. It removes the 7-methyl guanine cap structure from mRNA molecules, yielding a 5'-phosphorylated mRNA fragment and 7m-GDP [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q8IU60].

Alternative names for Dcp2 Antibody include hDpc2 antibody, nucleoside disphosphate-linked moiety X motif 20 antibody, nudix motif 20 antibody, NUDT20 antibody.
