Chicken IL-16 Antibody

Interleukin 16 (IL-16) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine and ligand for the CD4 receptor. IL-16 is produced by a variety of cells including epithelial cells, synovial fibroblast, lymphocytes, macrophages, mast cells, and eosinophils. As the ligand for the CD4 receptor, IL-16 functions as a chemoattractant for T-lymphocytes, monocytes, and eosinophils. IL-16 also has roles in modulating T-cell receptor expression, T-cell activation, and HIV-trancription and replication in CD4 positive cells.
