Caf1p150 Antibody

 
Caf1p150 is one of three subunits that make up the chromatin assembly factor I (CAFI). The CAFI subunits include Caf1 (p150; CHAF1A), P50, and p60 (CHAF1B; MIM 601245). The CAFI complex plays an important role in histone octamer assembly during DNA replication. The p150 subunit has been shown to directly interact with histone H3 and H4 as well as the proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and is critical to nucleosome assembly during DNA replication. Alternate names for Caf1 include chromatin assembly factor 1 subunit A, CAF-1 subunit A, chromatin assembly factor I p150 subunit, CAF-I 150 kDa subunit, CAF-Ip150, CHAF1A, CAF, and CAF1P150.
