CSN2 Antibody

CSN2 is one of eight subunits (CSN1 to 8) of the highly conserved COP9 signalsome (CSN) complex originally identified as a regulator of light-mediated development in Arabidopsis. Characterization of CSN from yeast to mammals reveals a function as a modulator of signal transduction pathways involved in a variety of cellular and developmental processes. One of the major functions of the CSN is the regulation of protein degradation via intersection with the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway and regulation of E3-ubiquitin ligases. CSN2 has also been demonstrated to interact with the sin3A corepressor complex as well as the thyroid hormone and vitamin D3 receptor to mediate gene repression.

Alternative names for CSN2 Antibody include COP9 signalsome complex subunit 2 antibody, signalsome subunit 2 antibody, SGN2 antibody, JAB1-containing signalsome subunit 2 antibody, thyroid receptor-interacting protein 15 antibody, TRIP-15 antibody, Alien homolog antibody, COPS2 antibody, TRIP15 antibody, SGN2 antibody.
