CENTD2/ARAP1 is an adapter protein that functions as an Arf 1 and Rho GTPase-activation protein. CENTD2/ARAP1 associates with the Golgi and appears to play a role in cytoskeleton remodeling as well as membrane receptor recycling and trafficking. Alternate names for CENTD2/ARAP1 include centaurin-delta-2, cnt-d2, Arf-GAP Rho-Gap ankyrin repeat and pleckstrin homology domain-containing protein 1, and KIAA0782.
