CENP-E Antibody

 
CENP-E is a member of the kinesin superfamily of motor proteins that play a role in mitosis. CENP-E plays an important role in stabilizing the attachment of chromosomes to microtubules via the kinetochore and in chromosome movement. CENP-E interacts with CENP-F, BUBR1, and PRC1. HsNUF2 has also been demonstrated to interact with CENP-E and both have been shown to be essential for stable microtubule-kinetochore attachment and faithful segregation. Alternate names for CENP-E include centromeric protein E, CENPE, and KIF10.
