CDC25a Antibody

CDC25a is a member of the CDC25 family of protein phosphatases. CDC25 is involved in promoting the G1 to S phase as well as the G2 to M phase transition of the cell cycle by removing inhibitory phosphates from tyrosine and threonine residues of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). CDC25a is an oncogene and has been found to be overexpressed in a subset of human cancers. Alternate designations for CDC25 include M-phase inducer phosphatase 1, dual specificity phosphatase Cdc25a, CDC25A, and CDC25A2.
