CAP-H Antibody

CAP-H is a subunit of the heteropentameric condensin I complex. Condensin participates in the condensation of chromosomes during cell division by facilitating positive DNA supercoiling and knotting by topoisomerase I and II and proper segregation of sister chromatids. CAP-H is a non-SMC regulatory subunit of the condensin complex that may have an important role in condensin’s ability to maintain structural integrity of centromeric heterochromatin during mitosis.

Alternative names for CAP-H Antibody include condensin complex subunit 2 antibody, non-SMC condensin I complex subunit H antibody, barren homolog protein 1 antibody, chromosome-associated protein H antibody, hCAP-H antibody, XCAP-H homolog antibody, NCAPH antibody, BRRN antibody, BRRN1 antibody, CAPH antibody, KIAA0074 antibody.
