CA150 has been identified as a transcriptional cofactor that functions as a corepressor of Tat-activated and C/EBP-activated gene transcription. CA150 also has been shown to interact with RNA polymerase II and the splicing factor SF1 to function in transcription elongation and pre-mRNA splicing.
