Bovine CCL2 Antibody

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2) is also known as monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1). It is a member of the CC chemokine subfamily which is defined by the structural pattern of cysteine residues. The mature CCL2 peptide is 76 amino acids with a molecular weight of 13 kDa. The receptors for CCL2 are CCR2 and CCR4. CCL2 is produced by a variety of cell types in response to inflammatory stimuli and recruits monocytes, memory T-cells, and dendritic cells to sites of injury and infection.
