BRAF35/HMG20B Antibody

 
HMG20B/BRAF35 was originally identified as a factor that interacted with the BRCA2 multiprotein-complex. In association with BRCA2, HMG20B/BRAF35 plays a role in mitotic progression. HMG20B also associates with a six-subunit BRCA2-devoid complex similar to SWI/SNF and NuRD that displays deacetylating and chromatin-remodeling activity and mediates repression of neuron-specific genes. Alternate names for HMG20B/BRAF35 include SWI/SNF-related matrix-associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin subfamily E member 1-related, SMARC1-related protein, SMARCE1r, high mobility group domain protein HMG20B, BRCA2-associated factor 35, sox-like transcriptional factor, SOXL, HMGX2, SMARCE1R, BRAF25, and FLJ26127.
