BCR Antibody

BCR (breakpoint cluster region) was identified as part of a fusion protein that results from a reciprocal translocation with the ABL gene between chromosomes 22 and 9. The BCR-ABL fusion is the cause of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The BCR protein contains a C2 domain, a DBL-homology domain, a PH domain, and a Rho-GAP domain and functions as a GTPase-activating protein for RAC1 and CDC42.

Alternative names for BCR Antibody include BCR antibody, BCR1 antibody, breakpoint cluster region antibody, ALL antibody, CML antibody, PHL antibody.
