Aurora C Antibody

 
Aurora C is an Aurora family serine/threonine kinase and a component of the chromosomal passenger complex (CPC), a key regulator of mitosis that functions in spindle assembly, chromosome alignment, and segregation. Aurora C associates with Aurora B and survivin and is required for cytokinesis. Aurora C is overexpressed in several cancer cell lines suggesting a role in transformation. Alternate names for Aurora C include serine/threonine-protein kinase 13, aurora/IpI1/Eg2 protein, Aurora/IpI1-related kinase 3, Aurora-C, AURKC, AIE2, AIK3, STK13, and AurC.
