ASC2 Antibody

 
Activating signal co-integrator 2 (ASC2) functions as a hormone-dependent transcriptional coactivator in cooperation with nuclear receptors such as steroids, retinoids, thyroid hormone, vitamin D3 and prostanoids. ASC2 also interacts with basal transcription factors and may also influence gene expression through its association with histone modifiers. ASC2 has been identified as an amplified gene in breast and other human cancers. ASC2 is also known as Nuclear receptor coactivator 6, NCOA6, amplified in breast cancer protein 3, cancer-amplified transcriptional coactivator ASC-2, peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-interacting protein, PPAR-interacting protein, PRIP, Nuclear receptor-activating protein 250kDa, Nuclear receptor coactivator RAP250, NRC RAP250, thyroid receptor binding protein, TRBP, AIB3, KIAA0181, RAP20, NRC, ANTP, HOXA7, and HOX1.1.
