APC1 Antibody

 
Anaphase-promoting complex subunit 1(APC1) is a component of the anaphase-promoting complex (APC). The APC complex functions as an ubiquitin ligase and is responsible for the ubiquitination of securin and cyclin B and prompts the onset of anaphase and the exit from mitosis. The APC complex is composed of at least 11 APC components. APC1 is the largest of these subunits. Alternate names for APC1 include cyclosome subunit 1, testis-specific gene 24 protein, mitotic checkpoint regulator, ANAPC1, and TSG24.
