ABC50 Antibody

ATP-binding cassette sub-family F member 1 (ABCF1) is also known as ABC50 and belongs to the adenosine-triphosphate-binding cassette (ABC) family of transporters. ABC transporters are categorized into seven subfamilies: ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and white. ABC50 is a member of the GCN20 subfamily. Unlike other ABC family members, ABC50 is not a membrane-spanning protein. ABC50 has been found to play a role in translation initiation and interacts with eIF2. Alternative names for ABC50 include ATP-binding cassette 50, and TNF-alpha-stimulated ABC protein.
