A20 Antibody

Zinc-finger protein A20 was identified as a transcript that was rapidly induced by tumor-necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha). A20 is an essential component of a ubiquitin-editing protein complex, comprising also RNF11, ITCH and TAX1BP1, that ensures the transient nature of inflammatory signaling pathways. Upon TNF stimulation, A20 deubiquitinates 'Lys-63'-polyubiquitin chains on RIPK1 and catalyzes the formation of 'Lys-48'-polyubiquitin chains [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P21580].

Alternative names for A20 Antibody include tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 3 antibody, TNF-alpha-induced protein 3 antibody, OUT domain-containing protein 7C antibody, TNFAIP3 antibody, OTUD7C antibody.
